Charity Requests

If you're holding a fundraising event, we'd be happy to offer our support with a donation of a prize.
Five times a year we will choose an allocation of pairs of donation tickets for our in-house productions. We receive a very high volume of appeals and these tickets will be drawn on the dates below from the entries we receive. Please be aware of this when sending your request for future fundraising events.

We follow a set of guidelines about what events and activities we can support and will consider applications based on the following criteria:
  • The event must have a confirmed date, time, venue and must be in support of a registered charity or to raise funds for a 'good cause'/ third sector organisation, e.g. a school. Please state your registered charity number.
  • We will not support events that are in any way political, sexist, homophobic, racist or any other protected characteristic.
  • We request that successful candidates also display TBTL promotional material, such as posters and flyers as a thank you for our support
  • We will look more favourably on events and activities based in the county of Cumbria and events or groups that meet our engagement priorities.
  • Please note we're not always able to support frequent, e.g. year on year, requests for charity tickets and if you have not been successful within your submitted draw dates, then you may still be successful further on in the year.
  • Please include a mailing address in your request email.

Please note that requests made by post, to any other email address and requests that do not contain the above information cannot be considered.
