Community Cast

Over the years directors have recruited local amateur actors to join the professional cast for several major productions at Theatre by the Lake. Community choruses have greatly increased the number of actors we can deploy on stage and have made a major contribution to the success of our plays.

We're looking for a community cast of adventurous mature women to join our professional acting company in bringing to life The Ladykillers by Graham Linehan, a madcap comedy based on one of the best loved British pictures of all time. Anyone aged 55 or over is invited to apply – there's no upper age limit.
We want to provide you with the fullest possible picture of what the project will involve, so please read all the information here prior to applying and do get in touch if you have any questions.

This will take place at Theatre by the Lake in our rehearsal room.
