Love discussing plays? Want to connect with like-minded people? We're delighted to announce TBTL's new, free, play reading club.
Each month we'll be reading a play and meeting as a group (online, via the zoom platform) to discuss it. The club will be hosted by our Artistic Director Liz Stevenson, and there will be a guest appearance from the playwright themselves at each session.
Our next play and discussion group date is:
Home, I'm Darling! by Laura Wade
Laura will be joining us for the session which is on Thu 24 September from 12:30pm - 2:30pm
To new members who want to sign up for the session, please complete this registration form
by 5pm on Tues 1 Sept. We'll let you know by Thu 4 September if you have a place.
**please note that as we have a maximum capacity for this activity, we'd encourage signing up soon! But in order to make sure that as many people who are interested are able to partake, please only sign up if you know you can make the date and time.
If you sign up and then realise you can't attend the session, please email email@example.com so we can offer the place to someone else.
Buying the playtext
We are delighted to be working with Bookends, Keswick's independent bookshop, on purchasing hard copy play-texts for our club (although members may also prefer to buy e-book versions).
We recommend finding out if you have a place in the session before buying the text (unless you like the sound of it anyway and would like a copy either way!).
You can find out more about the play and how to purchase a copy here.
Future sessions and plays
Simon Longman's Milked has been confirmed for Thu 29 October 6-8pm session. Due to the playtext being print on demand and taking slightly longer than normal to order, we are now opening registration for this session. Click here
to register your interest.
Future sessions will include plays by Roy Williams and take place on the last Thursday of every month. At each session, details about the following session will be released.
