Synopsis

Twenty years after being separated in a shipwreck as babies, two pairs of identical twins find themselves in the seaport of Ephesus, a town with a reputation for sorcery and magic. Mistaken for each other, they are constantly bewildered by bizarre encounters, cross-purpose conversations and baffling misunderstandings. It all ends in riotous chaos.

Shakespeare’s shortest play is a brilliantly colourful, mystical romantic comedy of confusion, reconciliation and reunion. This production is our contribution to the 450th anniversary celebrations of the Bard’s birth.
