Synopsis

Formed for a VE Day dance in 1985, this orchestra continue to delight audiences over thirty years later. The LSO gave their first overseas performance in Berlin appearing with Loria Gaynor and James Last. Many tours and festivals followed, from Dublin to Dubai, Monte Carlo to Marrakech and Koln to Kuala Lumpur. Back in the UK the list of London venues includes the Barbican, The Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Royal Albert Hall with Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The music begins in 1900s and Graham gives a fascinating history of twentieth century music as he takes you on a journey from Ragtime to Sinatra swing including the music of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Cole Porter, Louis Armstrong and of course Frank Sinatra.

Narrating the story, Graham gives a fascinating history of twentieth century music, as he takes you through a fabulous night of classic Jazz and Swing.
