Synopsis

Join acclaimed author Marian Veevers as she discusses her enlightening book telling the story of Jane Austen and Dorothy Wordsworth. Whilst the two never met, they had much in common, as well as many things to set them apart. Born in the 1770s in Georgian England, both were supremely gifted writers and influenced by Romantic ideals, yet suffered the frustrations of talented women of their age who had no independent income. Join us as we debunk the enduring myths and delve deeper into the fascinating lives of these two extraordinary women.
