Following a critically acclaimed, sell out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and tours of London and the South of England, Picasso’s Women comes to Keswick.
A unique look at the great painter’s early life through the voices of his wives, mistresses and muses. The unique stories of French model Fernande, Russian ballerina Olga and 17 year old mistress Marie-Thérèse give an insight into life with the prolific artist and the influence the women had on his art. Accompanied by artwork by Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf, Vice President of the Society of Women Artists, it points a spotlight on these women through the lens of 21st century values in three honest and witty monologues.
Flying Elephant Productions are proud that star of stage and screen and multi award winning actress, Dame Judi Dench is a Patron of ‘Picasso’s Women alongside Toyah Willcox and Professor Elizabeth Cowling. We also are delighted that artist Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf will be providing stunning artwork inspired by the show for the tour.
