Theatre by the Lake prides itself in making and sharing exciting theatre to people who live and visit Cumbria. Our programme is diverse, mixing the popular with the challenging, the traditional with the cutting edge. And through the feedback that we get every day, we know our audiences love what we do.

We are delighted that so many people get to watch theatre on our stages. But we know that many people are unable to enjoy a night out with a show, often due to circumstances beyond their control. Working with our audiences, we want to open our work to as many people as possible.
