Ruth Sutton: The Challenge of Self-Publishing

Thursday 12 March | 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Ruth Sutton has self-published nine novels, with considerable success. Managing to publish your own work can be really rewarding but also daunting. Ruth will take participants through the process step-bystep, drawing on her own and others’ experiences to find a route that avoids possible expensive and frustrating pitfalls. There will be a structured presentation, and built-in opportunities to think, check, share and plan. Participants should leave with some next steps determined by themselves for their particular circumstances.

Ruth Sutton’s novels are all set in West Cumbria where she lives. Her stories reflect the industrial history of the area as well as its rugged landscape, between the mountains and the sea.
