We also have a Rehearsal Room, Exhibition Spaces, Meeting Spaces and a Café, all of which provide our staff, audiences and visiting companies with the resources they need to produce and experience world-class theatre.

As well as hosting visiting companies and touring work, Theatre by the Lake stages up to nine of its own productions of classic, modern and new plays throughout the year, culminating in our much-loved family Christmas show. Our Main House and Studio spaces, though separate, are run and programmed together to ensure cohesion throughout the building.

We have a highly skilled team of Sound, Lighting and Stage Technicians who provide professional support for all our events.
