Theatre by the Lake presents a great mix of shows for children throughout the year and our ‘Wild’ Christmas production (Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).

We also present a Relaxed Performance for each of our in-house productions, which are great for parents with young babies. Whilst these shows may not be designed especially for children, Relaxed Performances are adapted with sound effects and lighting toned down and the doors to the theatre kept open so audiences can leave and reenter the auditorium at any time throughout the show. All children under the age of 18 months need a Lap Seat ticket, which allows them to sit on the lap of their parent/guardian during the performance. You can add a Lap Seat to you booking in the Supplementary Events section after you’ve selected your main tickets for the performance. If you have more than one baby, please speak to Box Office.
