Welcome to Oz: The Creative Journey
Our gallery space has been transformed into a special exhibition celebrating the creativity, craft and imagination that brought this new staging to life.
Take a peek behind the curtain and explore the journey to Oz through original sketches, costume concepts and early ideas from our show designer, Yoav Segal. You’ll also find the beautifully curated displays created by artist Naomi Frost – who not only crafted this exhibition, but also played piano in our rehearsals.
As you wander through the space, you’ll discover set inspirations, rehearsal glimpses and a model box of our world of Oz. (Please note: the set model box is extremely delicate, so we kindly ask that you admire it without touching.)
You’re very welcome to take photos of the exhibition and share your favourite moments online using @tbtlake.
But the creative journey doesn’t end here – the next step is you, the audience. What inspired you? Who was your favourite character? Which scene stayed with you long after the curtain fell? You’ll be invited to share your responses to the show, becoming part of the exhibition as we continue to build the world of Oz together.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road and enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at how imagination becomes theatre.
