Bah! Humbug! A Christmas Carol is coming soon…
What does it take to bring one of the world’s best-loved Christmas stories to life? A talented cast of actor-musicians, a little theatrical magic and, of course, a few ghosts!
In our latest rehearsal trailer, filmed by Greta Zabulyte with interviews by Rachel Kearns, director Andy Barry and the cast of A Christmas Carol invite you into the rehearsal room to discover how this exciting new adaptation is taking shape.
From the casting process and the challenge of playing multiple characters to the instruments bringing the original score to life, the company shares a glimpse of the creativity, collaboration and laughter behind the production.
There’s a chance to hear some of the show’s wonderful original live music, spot hints of the costumes and set, and get to know the characters who will be bringing Dickens’ timeless tale to the stage.
And with Christmas fast approaching, we couldn’t resist asking the cast one very important question: what would make your character say Bah! Humbug?
Created by Goblin, the makers of our acclaimed 2023 co-production The Lost Spells, this vibrant new musical adaptation promises a Christmas adventure filled with ghostly encounters, unforgettable characters and plenty of festive spirit.
With seven talented performers bringing the story to life through acting, singing and live music, A Christmas Carol is set to be a magical treat for everyone this Christmas.
