We’re excited to recruit for a Trainee Finance Assistant the join our team, so if you are interested in a career in Finance then read on!

Perhaps you’re ready for a new career and have an interest in Finance, or perhaps you’re just starting out in the world of work and think finance is the industry for you.

As Trainee Finance Assistant, you’ll work closely with and learn from our Head of Finance to accurately record our finance transactions and support in the management of our accounts processes.

Training in the role will be varied and as well as on the job training, we’ll support you to gain your Level 2 AAT qualification which will include attendance at the Lakes College once a week during term time. You’ll learn valuable finance administrative and business skills to help you in your role and your future career!

If you’ve worked in a finance administration role before then that’d be of interest, but if you haven’t then that’s OK too. We’re looking for candidates with great communication skills who are keen to develop and who already have strong skills in accuracy, attention to detail and Microsoft Excel that we can build on.

This is a full time role over Monday to Friday, and a fantastic opportunity to join our theatre in an outstanding location. As a member of our team you’ll have access to interesting and varied theatre productions as well as a pension, 31 days holiday (plus Christmas Day) and we’ll also provide a contribution to your travel to college.

Terms and Conditions
40 Hours per week (including college time)
31 days leave pa plus Christmas Day (this allocation includes public holidays)
Starting Salary – £20,000. However, provided that your performance meets our expectations, we plan to gradually increase the role to £22,000 throughout the first 2 years of employment.
