Keswick Photographic Society’s Annual Photography Exhibition

From 12 October to 11 November

We warmly welcome visitors to our Annual Keswick Photographic Society Exhibition that showcases the work of many of our 45 members. The photographs on show cover a wide range of subjects, including natural history for which the Society is renowned. It is regularly judged as the top club for its images of all 50 photographic clubs in the northern counties of England. In international competitions run by the Photographic Society of America, the club came top of the senior league in colour photography in the 2021-22 season. Also, a number of our members are regularly awarded individual medals in international competitions. A notable success was achieved by Alan and Julie Walker in this year’s prestigious Edinburgh International Print Exhibition with both receiving Gold Medals. They are among the exhibitors in the Theatre by the Lake exhibition.

Our Society was established nearly 50 years ago and is the only photographic club within the Lake District National Park. We welcome photographers with all levels of experience and strive to develop their photographic skills. During our September to April season, meetings take place every Wednesday at 7.30 in the Quaker Meeting House, opposite Booths, in Keswick. Visitors and prospective new members are very welcome to come along at any time. The programme is online at www.keswickphotographicsociety.co.uk.

The exhibition for 2023 will be displayed in our Gallery.
