“In the death zone, your body starts eating itself. Time and space disappear. It’s impossible to remember what happens up there.”

When Yasmine returns from a perilous once-in-a-lifetime expedition without her husband and climbing partner Charlie, a lot of people have a lot of questions. What happened on the mountain? Where is Charlie? Why do Yasmine and Sherpa Tshering’s accounts differ so drastically?

Private investigator Connie tries to unearth the truth from the remnants of a half-remembered nightmare.
