Comb

At times chilling, hilarious and moving, Comb is a lament for the stories and people we have lost. Through a tangled ride into Celtic, Slavic and Siberian folklore, it is a clarion call for understanding just how interwoven we all are.

When Charlotte was 8 her Grandad told her the beginning of a story:

“I saw a banshee once, just outside of Galway….” but refused to tell the full tale. Years later a chance encounter led her to, incredibly, find the rest of his story buried deep within an archive gathered from families in Ireland. Not only did she discover this unbelievable link to her past but also the more startling realisation that she might actually be cursed.
