Storytelling Workshop Week

Aged 11-14? Join our free audio storytelling workshop week this half term with Ragged Edge Productions and Cumbrian actor Eve Pereira.

This February half term Theatre by the Lake is hosting a free workshop week for budding theatre makers aged 11-14 to produce their own audio adventure. The week is packed full of practical and playful activity using audio in performance and exploring what makes audio storytelling special. We will work towards a short performance to share with friends and family, going on a journey around the theatre, with some live performance included too.

The workshops will be run by Eve Pereira – last seen on our stage as Becky in our hit Christmas production A Little Princess – and Stefan Escreet, Director of Ragged Edge Productions, former Associate Director of Theatre by the Lake and experienced audio drama director and producer with plenty of experience working with BBC Radio Drama North for plays on BBC Radio 4.

To take part in this brilliant storytelling opportunity you must be able to attend the full week, with sessions running Monday 12 – Friday 16 February, 10:30am – 4pm. Our final performance will take place on the Friday.

Places are limited, please contact Box Office to book on 017687 74411
